LONDON UNDER ATTACK

There have been several confirmed reports of at least two explosions in Canley today.

Colshaw Street, in the northeast of the area, has been cordoned off and emergency services are in attendance. The extent of the damage is as yet unknown.

Eyewitnesses claim to have heard one blast at around 10.05am this morning, followed by another further down the street within five seconds. Police officers were on the scene within a few moments and the scene was one of devastation.

A plume of smoke is hovering over the site and traffic in the area has come to a complete standstill. Transport officials are re-routing all public transport away from the area, and advising people to make alternative arrangements for their journeys.

There has been no news from the Ambulance service on casualty figures, but it is believed that the first casualties are arriving at St Hugh’s and that incidents are high.
